Each year the CU has two weekends away, traditionally called 'Houseparties'.
The first weekend away takes place halfway during the Autumn term and is a great chance for Freshers to get to know the other members in CU and vice versa. It is a chance for us to be equipped for the Mission Week later on in the Autumn term.
The second weekend away takes place at the end of the Summer term and is a chance for us to say goodbye to those who are graduating and leaving us and to be equipped for the Freshers week at the beginning of the Autumn term after the summer holiday.
The weekends away are a great time to get to know each other better; to relax and take time out from busy university life; to spend time praying for each other and for the terms ahead, and most importantly to study the bible and be encouraged and equipped in our evangelism.
